One killed as two motorcycles collide head-on in Kathmandu



KATHMANDU: One person died and another got injured when two motorcycles collided at Kathmandu Metropolitan City-13, Shankhamul on Saturday.

A motorcycle, Ba 36 Pa 6531, heading towards Dobhan Bridge from Shankhamul and a motorcycle, Pradesh 3 02 006 Pa 8800, coming from the opposite direction collided head-on at around 7 pm.

The deceased has been identified as Sudip Timalsina, 22, of Sunkoshi Rural Municipality-7 in Sindhupalchowk. He was riding the motorcycle heading to Dobhan Bridge.

Another motorcyclist, Sanu Khan, 30, an Indian national, was injured. He is undergoing treatment at the Trauma Center.
