Coronavirus cases down in Kalikot



KALIKOT: The cases of coronavirus infection have declined in the district lately- thanks to the coordination of local levels and district crisis management committee on the control and prevention of pandemic.

Officiating manager at Health Service Office in the district, Katak Bahadur Mahat informed that the district so far recorded 245 cases of infection and there are only two active cases now.

“Currently, two infected persons are receiving treatment at Covid-19 special hospital,” he added, saying 243 persons have so far recovered their normal health. A total of 6,649 persons underwent PCR test in the district.

The Office further said among nine local levels in the district, Raskot had 35 cases of coronavirus infection, Khandachakra 23, Tilagupha Municipality 31, Palanta 3, Sanni Triveni 38, Naraharinath 43, Shuvakalika 37, Mahabai 13, and Pachaljharana Rural Municipality two cases. RSS
