134 cases propel Province 1 COVID-19 tally to 18,384



BIRATNAGAR: Province 1 has seen 134 new cases of coronavirus on Thursday.

According to the Ministry of Social Development of Province 1, the province saw 77 cases in Sunsari, 42 in Morang, 31 in Jhapa, 1 in Tehrathum, and 3 outside the province in the last 24 hours.

The coronavirus case in the province has reached 18,384 today.

According to the Ministry, 70 people have been discharged from various isolations in the province today. Kali Sadan Isolation and Marwadi Sewa Sadan Isolation have discharged 25 each after recovery today. Similarly, 10 persons each
have been discharged from Baijanathpur Isolation and Birat Medical College isolation.

With this, the number of discharged cases, here, has reached 10,179 till today.

Likewise, Province carried out the test of 442 swabs today, out of which 64 females and 70 males came out with COVID-19 positive report. The province has conducted the PCR test of 1,56,988 swabs till date.
