NC demands govt to rescue Nepali students thrashed in Dehradun



KATHMANDU: The main opposition party, Nepali Congress, has demanded the government to draw the attention of the Indian government regarding the incident of the beating of Nepali students pursuing education at Dehradun of India.

The NC also asked the government to immediately rescue them. Issuing a press release today, NC Spokesperson Bishwa Prakash Sharma pointed out that guaranteeing a safe and fear-free environment to the students of both countries pursuing education at different cities of Nepal and India was the responsibility of both countries.

Spokesperson Sharma demanded the government to initiate necessary awareness not to let such incidents recur in the days ahead by taking serious initiation regarding Nepali students’ safety and respect.
