COVID-19 infected woman dies in Pokhara

KASKI: A COVID-19 infected woman has died in the course of treatment in Pokhara.

A 36-year-old woman from Pokhara Metropolitan City-13 succumbed to the coronavirus while undergoing treatment at Pokhara Institute of Health Sciences on Wednesday night.

The patient who tested positive for the virus on October 21 breathed her last at 11 pm yesterday, informed Dr Arjun Acharya, the director of the hospital.

With this, the number of COVID-19 deaths has reached 71 in Gandaki Pradesh.
