NEPSE index down by 7.21 points



KATHMANDU: The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index went down by 7.21 points on Tuesday to reach 1553.62

Similarly, the Sensitive Index has declined by 1.79 points to 307.82. A total of 7.3 million shares of 192 companies were traded at Rs 1.82 billion.

Shares of three sub-indices increased and shares of nine sub-indices declined.

The hydropower sub-index increased by 28.05 points, manufacturing by six points and collective investment fund by 0.02 points.

While banking sub-index declined by 10.82 points, trade by 24 points, hotels by 10.08 points, development banks by 0.68 points, finance by 2.8 points, non-life insurance by 44.99 points, others by 4.94 points, microfinance by 13.58 points and life insurance by 42.96 points.
