Banke records two additional deaths from COVID-19



KATHMANDU: Two more people have died from the coronavirus in Banke district on Tuesday morning.

The deceased are 53-year-old man of Kohalpur municipality-10 and a 41-year-old man, the staffer of Nepal medical college, informed Ram Bahadur Kurumbang, the Chief District Officer of Banke.

One of them died at 2 am while the other succumbed to the virus at 3 am in the course of treatment today, said CDO Kurumbang.

They were being treated on ventilator after they tested positive for the coronavirus.

With this, the number of deaths from the coronavirus has reached 16 in Banke district.

Of them, nine are from the Banke itself while the other seven are from outside the district.
