Rautahat reports another COVID-19 death



BIRGUNJ: A youth from Rautahat undergoing treatment in Birgunj for the coronavirus infection died on Saturday evening.

A 30-year-old man from Gamhariya-3 of Rautahat breathed his last while undergoing treatment at around 7:30 pm today, according to the Narayani Hospital’s Spokesperson Dr. Atulesh Chaurasiya.

The youth was admitted to Corona Special Heath Care Hospital on Thursday and his coronavirus report had come positive the next day.

With the new death, the death toll from the pandemic in the district has reached four.

A total of 86 people, including 14 women and 72 men, have died from the coronavirus infection in Province 2 so far.

As many as 33 people have died of the coronavirus in Parsa, 13 in Bara, 12 in Dhanusha, nine in Mahottari, five in Saptari, seven in Siraha, three in Sarlahi and four in Rautahat.
