Dr Madan Kumar Upadhyaya, the Medical Superintendent of the Birgunj-based Narayani Hospital, confirmed the deaths of two males — aged 70 and 65 — undergoing treatment at the National Medical College.

The swab test conducted at the Narayani Hospital laboratory of both the deceased had come positive.
