Kathmandu Valley reports 15 new COVID-19 cases Wednesday



KATHMANDU: Kathmandu Valley has reported 15 new cases of coronavirus in the last 24 hours.

According to Dr. Jageshwor Gautam, the Spokesperson of the Ministry of Health and Population, 14 people of Kathmandu and 1 from Bhaktapur have tested positive for coronavirus.

Spokesperson Dr. Gautam informed that one person from Bhaktapur and 2 from Kathmandu have tested COVID-19 positive in the tests carried out in National Public Health Laboratory, Teku.

Similarly, 7 swabs from Kathmandu have tested in Shukraraj Tropical and Infectious Disease Hospital, Kathmandu were found coronavirus positive.

Likewise, 2 persons each from Kathmandu tested positive in the tests carried out in Bir Hospital, Kathmandu and Star Hospital in Lalitpur.

Among the tests carried out at the Maharajgunj-based TU Teaching Hospital, one has tested coronavirus positive.
