COVID-19: Sudurpaschim Province adds 197 new cases on Monday



DHANGADHI: Sudurpaschim Province has added 197 new cases of coronavirus on Monday.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 28 females and 70 males from Bajura, 17 females and 52 males from Doti, eight females and 22 males from Kailali tested coronavirus positive.

The Ministry said that 20 females and 46 males from Bajura were tested positive in the samples tested in TU Teaching Hospital, Maharajgunj.

Similarly, eight females and 24 males of Bajura had COVID-19 positive report from Karnali Health Science Laboratory, Jumla.

Likewise, eight females and 21 males from Kailali and 17 females and 52 males from Doti district were found coronavirus positive on the test carried out in Seti Provincial Hospital’s Dhangadhi Laboratory on Monday.

The Ministry added that one male from Kailali also tested positive in the swabs tested in Chitwan Hospital
