GHORAHI: Dang Police has arrested a health worker for abusing the power and sexual harassment against a patient.
According to DSP Sumit Khadka, Spokesperson of Dang police, Nava Raj Dangi 22 of Babai-5 is held in custody for making a newly married woman who visited Gorkha Hospital for chest X-ray naked.
The alleged, who worked as radio graphics at Gorkha Hospital, had asked the woman to go fully naked for the X-ray.
According to Khadka, the police have arrested the alleged as per the case filed against him by the victim’s husband.
“As we got a case against Dangi that he got the woman who had been to the hospital for chest X-ray naked under the waist as well, we have arrested the alleged and are investigating further to proceed the case ahead,” DSP Khadka said.
