29 new cases confirmed in test at Bharatpur Laboratory

CHITWAN: Coronavirus infection has been confirmed in 29 more people in the laboratory test conducted at the Bharatpur Hospital COVID-19 laboratory on Monday.

Of the 535 samples tested today, 29 samples were confirmed to be COVID-19 and the results of the remaining 506 samples were negative, the hospital said.

The newly infected people are 11 men from Arghakhanchi, two women aged 32 and 27 years of Khairhani Municipality ward-2 and 3 of Chitwan and one 35-year-old man of Godavari Municipality of Kailali.

Likewise, two men aged 21 and 23 living in Bharatpur Metropolis 15 and 16, 13 men in different age groups from 16 to 55 years from Palpa district have been confirmed to have COVID-19.
