BHOJPUR: A minor girl has been charred to death at Pyauli in Arun rural municipality of Bhojpur district.
The deceased has been identified as three year-old Bishnu Maya, a granddaughter of Karna Bahadur Sarki, a local, said District Police Office, Bhojpur.
The child sustained critical burn injuries after a fire broke out in the house of Sarki on Sunday.
The injured child who was rushed to Dhankuta District Hospital succumbed to her burn injuries in the course of treatment last night.
Sarki’s house caught fire due to short circuit.
