BIRATNAGAR: A man, reportedly killed his mother and committed suicide in Kakum of Morang’s Belbari municipality.
Jeevan Limbu quarreled with his mother when they were having lunch. Soon he hurled a brick on his mother killing her on the spot, police said.
He then came out of his house, held a sickle and tried to slit his throat. Not being able to do so, he went to a neighbor’s kitchen and slit his throat with a knife.
He was taken to the Belbari-based Nobel Community Hospital where he breathed his last.
