RAUTAHAT: Tension flared in Ishnath municipality after locals clashed with police officials over the  Coronavirus infection issue in the district on Friday morning.

Police fired 12 rounds of shots to take the situation under control.

The situation took a nasty turn after the police tried to take a COVID-19 infected person to an isolation.

Irate locals have vandalized a police vehicle.
