NC parliamentary party meet today



KATHMANDU: The Nepali Congress parliamentary party is meeting today to discuss about contemporary political developments and the constitution amendment.

It may be noted that the NC’s central working committee is also meeting at its central office in Sanepa on Saturday.

According to NC spokesperson Bishwo Prakash Sharma, the party’s CC meeting scheduled for Saturday will discuss the issue of constitution amendment.

“The meeting will discuss various issues related with the ongoing pandemic crisis and the recent dispute related with Nepal’s Kalapani, Limpiyadhura area,” spokesperson Sharma said.

“The CC members will mainly discuss about the proposed constitution amendment bill,” he added.

Nepali Congress has expressed its concern over India’s construction of road on Nepali territory in Limpiyadhura, Kalapani area.
