KATHMANDU: A cabinet meeting is taking place at 2 pm on Thursday.
According to Baluwatar sources, the meeting will endorse the budget to be presented in the parliament today.
The parliament meeting has been called for 4 pm.
Finance Minister Yuba Raj Khatiwada will present the budget for the Fiscal Year 2020/21 at the joint meeting of the Federal Parliament.
Meanwhile, Speaker Agni Prasad Sapkota has urged all members to be present at the house before 3:45 pm.
The House of Representatives will meet again at 6:00 pm following the joint meeting of the parliament, it is learnt.
