NYA says it was not involved in filing complaint, sloganeering

KATHMANDU: The National Youth Association (NYA) has said that its serious attention has been drawn toward media reports saying the organization was involved in filing complaints and sloganeering.

Issuing a statement on Tuesday, Coordinator of the youth wing of the ruling Nepal Communist Party Ram Prasad Sapkota said that it was not the institutional decision of the organization.

“If a person is involved in such an act in the name of the organization, it’s his/her personal issue. I would like to remind that NYA has not made and such institutional decisions,” Sapkota said in a statement.
