After failed visits to hospitals from Birgunj to Bharatpur; Hetauda Hospital treats Khatun

HETAUDA: Riyaj Khan waited for two fortnights at the Birgunj-based Gandak Hospital for the treatment of Khan’s 10-year-old sister Najarin Khatun, who was suffering from fever.

After 15 days, the Gandak Hospital suggested Khan to go to Bharatpur Hospital citing lack of ICU service.

When he reached Bharatpur, he was further upset as all the hospitals in Bharatpur denies to admit the patient.

On the way back home, he entered a hospital in Hetauda, which admitted his sister. He said he was ‘extremely happy’ with the service of the hospital staff for their humanitarian service.

According to Dr. Raju Sedhai of the hospital, she was suffered from Aplastic anemia.

Khatun is a native of Kalimai Municipality-2 of Parsa district.
