Medical items donated to Atharai Health Post

TEHRATHUM:  Jagadamba Databya Aaushadhalaya (JDA), Sakranti Atharai has handed over emergency health aid materials to Atharai Health Post.

The health materials include infrared thermal guns, surgical masks, sanitizers and surgical gloves.

Prem Prasad Poudel of JDA handed over the materials to Sushil Ingnam, Rural Municipality Health Chief and the Chief of the Health Post Prem Kadariya amidst a program on Monday.

Handing over the medical items, Prem Prasad Poudel said, “JDA would be willing to provide further assistance to the health post if need be.”

JDA Chairman Dr Shanta Dixit had donated the medical items to the health post at a time when the number of infection cases is growing in State 1.

Earlier, Rural Municipality Health Chief Sushil Ingnam had requested the JDA to provide the medical items.

JDA was established in 2015 BS through private donation of Rani Jagadamba Kumari Devi.

Based in the eastern hill of Tehrahtum district,  Atharai Health Post is a government health post that started in the 1960s.
