Nepal clinches 2nd position in paragliding c’ship

KASKI: Nepal has clinched the second position in the Nepal Open Paragliding Championship of the 19th edition of the Paragliding World Cup Asian Tour underway in Pokhara.

Nepal became second in the 42.7 km cross country event under the World Cup Qualifiers held in Pokhara on Thursday.

Earlier, the competition had been affected  for three days due to bad weather. Korea has taken the lead with 20 points followed by Nepal with 17 points.

Likewise, Nepal’s another team ‘Team Everest’ became third with 13 points, informed Competition Director Bimal Adhikari.

The competition has been taking place since February 23.
