Rahul accuses Modi government of tarnishing India’s image

NEW DELHI: Indian Congress leader Rahul Gandhi launched a fresh attack on the Prime Minister Narendra Modi government accusing it of tarnishing India’s image.

Gandhi urged Indian youth not to let their voice be suppressed, Indian media reports have said.

Addressing a program on Tuesday, Gandhi said the country’s image and reputation that India had in the world has been damaged.

He said India was known as a country of brotherhood, love and unity, while Pakistan was widely known for divisiveness and hatred.

“India today is considered as the rape capital of the world,” Gandhi said. (Agencies)
