Bhattarai elected chair of Pokhara Tourism Council



POKHARA: Gopi Bhattarai has been elected the Chair of Pokhara Tourism Council, an umbrella organization of tourism entrepreneurs in Pokhara.

He was elected by the 11th annual general meeting of the Council unanimously.

In the AGM held on Friday, Pom Narayan Shrestha was elected the Vice-chair, Ram Chandra Sharma the General Secretary, Taranath Pahari the Secretary and Krishna Kafley the Treasurer.

The Council brings together 12 different associations related to the tourism section in Pokhara. Newly elected Chair Bhattarai said the Council will join hands with all sides to revive tourism in Pokhara, devastated by the Coronavirus pandemic.
