Kulman Ghising takes early lead in Kathmandu-3 vote count



KATHMANDU: In the preliminary vote count of Kathmandu Constituency No. 3, Ujyalo Nepal Party candidate Kulman Ghising has secured a clear lead with 1,041 votes.

According to the latest update from the Election Officer’s Office, Ghising is significantly ahead of his nearest rival.

Rastriya Swatantra Party candidate Rajunath Pandey is in second place with 748 votes. Nepali Congress candidate Ramesh Aryal has received 298 votes, while CPN-UML candidate Rameshwar Phuyal is close behind with 289 votes. Meanwhile, Niraj Lama of the Nepal Communist Party has secured 35 votes so far.

Vote counting is progressing slowly but steadily. Security arrangements at the counting center have been tightened, and further results are expected in the coming hours.
