Nepse resumes transaction from today



KATHMANDU:  Nepal Stock Exchange (Nepse) which remained closed for five days during Dashian is resuming its transactions from today.

Similarly, banks and financial institutes are also opening from today. Share markets and banks and financial institutes had been shut since October 23.

Nepse index had increased by 8.54 points to reach 1606.25 points on the final day of the transaction before the Dashian holiday.

As many as 6,457,833 units of shares worth Rs 1.99 billion of 187 companies had been sold during the period.
