Poudel faction files protest letter against Deuba’s ‘unilateral moves’



KATHMANDU: The faction led by Nepali Congress (NC) senior leader Ram Chandra Poudel has registered a protest letter at the party’s central office demanding to correct the recent decisions related to the ‘impartiality of the General Convention’.

The rival faction filed the protest letter expressing disagreement over President Sher Bahadur Deuba’s recent appointments, preparations for the convention, active membership and other issues affecting the upcoming 14th General Convention.

The protest letter states that active membership has been distributed in arbitrarily, forms have not been distributed in 28 districts yet and nomination have been made to different departments to ‘affect the convention’.
