Hotels along Annapurna Circuit to operate from mid-Oct

POKHARA: Hotels along the Annapurna trekking circuit will be resuming their services from mid-October.

The government has already allowed the operation of hotels and restaurants across the country after lifting the COVID-19 restrictions. However, hotels along the popular trekking route are still closed.

While the entire profession and business is in the process of returning to full rhythm, the hotels along the trekking route have also started preparations to operate.

The meeting of the Chomrong Tourism Entrepreneurs Committee has decided to start hotel and restaurant business only by adopting strict health protocols.

Dilip Gurung, Secretary of the Chomrong Tourism Entrepreneurs Committee, said that the tourism sector is also slowly reviving after the resumption of domestic flights.

He said that necessary security measures and materials have been arranged for running the business.
