HETAUDA: A tractor driver died in a truck-tractor collision at Hetauda-15 Ratmate along the East-West Highway on Monday afternoon.
According to District Police Office, Makwanpur, a truck (Na 5 Kha 4164) coming towards Hetauda from Birgunj collided with a tractor (Na 3 Ta 7931) heading towards Amlekhgunj.
Tractor driver, Lal Babu Yadav, 22, an inhabitant of Parwanipur, Parsa died at the spot. Three others are injured in the accident.
The injured have been rushed to a hospital in Hetauda.
DSP Indra Bahadur Rana, the spokesperson of District Police Office, Parsa informed that the truck driver is in police custody and an investigation has been initiated to collect further details about the accident.
