Two BOPs established in Chitwan

CHITWAN: Two border outposts (BOPs) of the Armed Police Force have been set up in Chitwan as per the plan to strengthen border security with India.

New BOPs have been set up at Kedareshwor Primary School in Madi Municipality-1 and Raidanda Primary School in Madi Municipality-9.

SP Deepak Kumar Thapa of the Armed Police Force No. 17 Battalion Chitwan informed that a BOP office has been set up in the vacant school after the merger.

The team has been deployed under the command of Armed Police Inspectors.

As per the government’s strategy of increasing the number of BOPs at the border with India, two BOPs have been added in Chitwan.
