Dr. KC’s health deteriorates as his protest enters 15th day



KATHMANDU: The health condition of Dr. Govinda KC, who has been on a protest for 15 days demanding health care reforms, has deteriorated.

Doctors attending him fear Dr KC could have serious health problems at any time.

Dr. KC has been kept at the Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital in Maharajgunj where he has continued his strike.

According to the doctors involved in his treatment, Dr KC has become weak, and his heart is pounding.

Likewise, Dr. KC’s blood sugar level is also very low. The amount of water in the body is also reduced significantly because of which there can be a serious health crisis any time, doctors said.

Even though Dr. KC’s health condition is deteriorating, the government has not responded to his demand.
