Man involved in call bypass nabbed



KATHMANDU: Police have arrested a man involved in bypassing international calls.

A team from Central Investigation Bureau (CIB) arrested Harishankar Shrestha of Madhyapur Thimi Municipality-5 and currently living in Bouddha, Kathmandu.

He was arrested by the police on a tip-off that international incoming calls are being bypassed at various places in the Kathmandu Valley.

Shrestha was nabbed from a building at Kathmandu Metropolitan City-22, Khichapokhari.

An 8-port open vox gateway, a charger and eight Ncell SIM cards have been recovered from him.
