Former Lieutenant General Kul Bahadur Khadka passes away

KATHMANDU: Former Lieutenant General of Nepal Army Kul Bahadur Khadka passed away on Tuesday afternoon.

According to the family, Khadka, who was undergoing treatment at Norvic Hospital, breathed his last today.

His last rites were performed at Pashupati Aryaghat today.

The then Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal alias Prachanda had sacked the then Chief of Army Staff Rookmangud Katawal and had appointed Khadka to the post.

Prachanda had resigned after the then President Ram Baran Yadav had reversed the decision.
