Youth dies falling into river

SYANGJA: A youth who went missing after falling into the flooded Mirdi stream here last night has been found dead.

Lok Bahadur Thapa Damai of around 22 year accidentally fell into the stream from the Lasune-based cemented bridge at Waling Municipality-5.

His body was retrieved from the riverbank of Waling-6, District Police Office Syangja’s deputy superintendent of police and information officer Rajendra Prasad Adhikari said.

The youth from Rupandehi district was staying in his brother-in-law’s home at Keware of Waling-7. RSS
