Repatriation flight for Nepalis stranded in Africa on July 3



KATHMANDU: The ‘rescue’ flight for Nepalis in Africa marooned due to the coronavirus epidemic is scheduled to take place on July 3.

According to Hikmat Thapa, former treasurer of NRNA working in Nigeria, a chartered flight of Qatar Airways will take off from Addis Ababa, Ethiopia on July 3 at 1 am.

Thapa has requested Nepalis living in Ethiopia and other nearby countries who wish to return to Nepal to reach Addis Ababa by July 2.

Nepalis willing to return through the repatriation flight should contact the Nepali Embassy in Egypt.
