All district headquarters to be connected with road network



KATHMANDU: The government has allocated a budget to connect all the district headquarters to the road network within the next fiscal year.

A budget of Rs 6.42 billion has been allocated for the tunnel to reach the district headquarters of Humla.

Presenting the budget for the coming fiscal year, Finance Minister Dr. Yubaraj Khatiwada said that the government has allocated budget for the construction of tunnels in Nagdhunga-Thankot and Butwal-Palpa road sections.

It is stated that Rs 8.66 billion has been allocated to study the East-West Railway and start construction of railways in different places.

The government has allocated Rs 138.80 billion for the Ministry of Physical Infrastructure.
