KATHMANDU: Nansu Municipality of People’s Republic of China has donated medical stuffs to Tokha Municipality in Kathmandu.
The medical stuffs were provided to help fight against the outbreak of COVID-19 pandemic in Nepal.
The medical stuffs cost over Rs 16 million were provided to the Municipality. The stuffs compromise 5,000 pieces of medical masks; 20,000 pieces of non-medical masks; 3,000 sets of personal protective equipments (PPE), 3,000 glasses and gloves, sanitizers and shoes among others, said Tokha Municipality sources.
Tokha Municipality Mayor Prakash Adhikari shared that the medical stuffs would help fight against COVID-19 outbreak in their area.
The both cities had forged sister-city relations last year.
