COVID-19 infection cases climb to 778 in Nepal

BAGLUNG: Six persons in Baglung have tested positive for coronavirus on Wednesday morning.

With the six confirmed cases in Baglung this morning, the total number of Coronavirus cases in Nepal has climbed to 778.

The six people, residents of Badigad and Tamankhola in the district, had come from India recently and were staying in quarantine since then, according to the Health Service Division under the Ministry of Social Development of Gandaki Province.

They have been taken to the Baglung-based Dhaulagiri Zonal Hospital. All six infected ones will be kept at in isolation.

Currently, 598 Coronavirus patients are undergoing treatment at various hospitals in the country while 176 have discharged after recovery and two have died from the deadly virus.
