SC to resume hearing of public interest litigations

KATHMANDU: The Supreme Court (SC) has decided to resume hearing of Public Interest Litigations (PILs).

The apex court said it decided to resume the hearing of the writs of public interest by maintaining social distancing and adopting health precautions citing extension of the lockdown.

Other services will resume three days after the lockdown ends, SC said in a statement issued by Joint Spokesperson Devendra Dhakal.

Earlier, the apex court was registering writs only related to coronavirus and lockdown.
