France reports 22, 856 deaths, 162, 100 infection cases



KATHMANDU: France has registered 22, 856 deaths as of Monday morning.

According to reports, the number of infection cases has surged to 162, 100 so far.

Currently, 94, 341 are undergoing treatment at various hospitals in the country, of which 4, 682 are critical. Meanwhile, 44,903 have returned home after recovery.

Broke out in Wuhan City of China last December, the deadly virus has spread to 210 countries including two international conveyances across the world, killing 206,973 and infecting 2,994,436 people as of Monday morning.
