Govt to allow EPS pass-outs to go to S Korea



KATHMANDU: The government has decided to send Nepalis who have passed Korean Language Test (EPS) to South Korea.

The government has said it will allow Nepali workers to go to South Korea except for the other labor destinations.

A cabinet meeting held on Sunday took a decision to this effect as per the mutual agreement held between the two countries, informed Minister for Finance, who is also the government’s spokesperson, Yuba Raj Khatiwada.

Similarly, the Government of Nepal extended the ongoing nationwide lockdown until May 7 to combat the spread of the novel coronavirus pandemic.

Sunday’s extension is the fifth time that the government has extended the lockdown period so far. The lockdown period of the fourth time is expiring on Monday while the fifth extension will end on May 7.
