It is the first case reported outside Kathmandu Valley.

“He had returned from Dubai. We are getting detailed information about him,” Spokesperson Devkota said, “He was admitted to the hospital on Tuesday. His swab sample was tested at National Public Health Laboratory which came out to be positive.”

Some 13 are currently in isolation in different hospitals across the country in suspicion of being infected with COVID-19.

Earlier, a Nepali girl arriving in Nepal from France via Qatar transit and a man from Dubai had tested positive for coronavirus.
