Nawang Sherpa of Yeti Group remanded to custody

KATHMANDU: Four persons along with Nawang Pasang Sherpa of Yeti Group arrested with different drugs including brown heroin have been remanded to custody.

Kathmandu District Court on Thursday remanded them to custody.

Nawang is the son of former Chairman of Yeti Group late Ang Tshering Sherpa.

Police on February 1 had arrested four persons including Nawang with drugs. Apart from Nawang, those arrested are Rajan Shrestha, Sapana Rayamajhi and Om Bahadur Gurung.

Law enforcement agency had arrested them 100 milligrams brown heroin and other pharmaceutical drugs.
