Tourism festival in Sukute



SINDHUPALCHOK: A tourism festival is scheduled to take place at Sukute of Chautara Sangachokgadhi Municipality from February 29.

The Sindhu Tourism Entrepreneurs’ Association is organizing the fair with the objective of promoting Visit Nepal Year 2020.

Rafting, marathon running, volleyball match, fun fare, cultural festival among other events will be organized in the festival, organizing committee chair Narayan Shrestha, said.

According to the organizer, the festival is expected to promote local productions and local cultural sites. The area Sukute is 68 kilometer far from the federal capital Kathmandu.

There are a total of 10 sophisticated resorts in operation.
