CP Mainali, family seriously injured in accident



KATHMANDU: General Secretary of Nepal Communist Party Marxist-Leninist, CP Mainali has been injured in a road accident in Bardibas of Mahottari on Thursday.

Mainali has sustained injuries in his leg and head.

The accident occurred when his car Ba 7 Cha 2120 coming to Kathmandu from Jhapa collided head-on with a pick-up van Na 4 Cha 7680 coming from the opposite direction.

Five including Mainali, his son Saroj, 30, daughter-in-law Puja Dhungana, five-year-old grandson, and driver Ram Prasad Poudel have been injured in the accident.

DSP at the Bardibas police station Rajan Chapagain said Puja is seriously injured.
