KATHMANDU: Prime Minister KP Oli and Nepali Congress influential leader Dr Shekhar Koirala discussed contemporary political issues on Thursday.
NC sources said that the discussion between the two leaders basically focused on the current political scenario, among others.
Koirala’s aide Dinesh Chandra Thapaliya informed that the meeting lasted for at least one and a half hours at the PM’s official residence in Baluwatar on Thursday.
Koirala is learned to have suggested PM Oli to step down as there have been disappointments all around. He also reminded Oli about the cabinet ministers’ alleged involvement in corruption.
PM Oli is learned to have told NC leader Koirala that some of the Nepal Communist Party leaders are hell-bent on trying to ‘trap’ him and put him in difficulty.
