KATHMANDU: Machhindra Club defeated Three Star Club 2-0 in the ongoing Martyr’s Memorial ‘A’ Division League on Monday.
At the match played at the Tripureshwor-based Dashrath Stadium, Rejin Subba scored in the 38th minute of the game to give Machhindra an early lead.
Bishal Rai added another goal in the 90th minute of the game to seal a victory for his team.
With the win, Machhindra has climbed to the top spot in the points table with 19 points from nine games.
