KATHMANDU: Machhindra Club defeated Three Star Club 2-0 in the ongoing Martyr’s Memorial ‘A’ Division League on Monday.

At the match played at the Tripureshwor-based Dashrath Stadium, Rejin Subba scored in the 38^th minute of the game to give Machhindra an early lead.

Bishal Rai added another goal in the 90^th minute of the game to seal a victory for his team.

With the win, Machhindra has climbed to the top spot in the points table with 19 points from nine games.
