COVID-19 patient escapes from hospital’s ICU

BUTWAL: A COVID-19 patient has escaped from Coronavirus Special Hospital in Butwal.

A 55-year-old man from Butwal-13, Belawas fled the hospital under the pretext of going to the toilet, according to the hospital.

He was hospitalized last Wednesday after being diagnosed positive for the pandemic. He was being treated at the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of the hospital.

Police have launched a manhunt to nab him.
