KATHMANDU: Meteorologists have forecast partly cloudy weather in different parts of the country on Sunday.
According to Meteorologist Barun Poudel of the Meteorological Forecasting Division (MFD), there will be partial to normal cloud cover in Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim Provinces on Sunday afternoon. The weather in the rest of the country will be partially cloudy.
There will be partial to normal cloud cover in Province 1, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Sudurpaschim Provinces while there will be partial cloud cover in the rest of the country at night. It will be foggy in most parts of the Terai.
According to meteorologist Poudel, it will not rain even if it is cloudy due to the influence of the westerly wind.
The minimum temperature in Kathmandu on Sunday morning was measured at 2.5 degrees Celsius. On Saturday, the minimum temperature in Kathmandu had dropped to 1.3 degrees Celsius, the lowest this year.
